Customer: Vendome Distributors is a complex, multinational company that distributes 12 different brands of luxury goods.
Project Description: Inobits Consulting developed a comprehensive Financial Data Warehouse solution that consolidates the ERP system with several other information sources. The resulting information is used for daily sales analysis, monthly Income Statement analysis and yearly reports. This solution is considered mission critical by the organization. The solution heavily depends on SQL Server Integration Service, Analysis Services and Reporting Services. Other components used include ProClarity, SharePoint, Silverlight and custom developed .NET software. Specialized skillsets used included custom MDX queries and ERP (SYSPRO) integration knowledge. The system has now been running for over 3 years, and is continuously being upgraded and updated to keep up with changing business environments and demands - a good example of an ever evolving business intelligence solution that keeps up with a dynamic and growing business.
